What to bring with you
Chinmaya Vibhooti is situated 45 kms from Pune city. Due to its remote location, we would advise that you bring the following items with you.
Sufficient clothes for the entire period of stay and a few extra sets as contingency (there are no laundry facilities available apart from hand-washing one’s own clothes – for this please bring your own washing powder).
Suggested dress code: Appropriate, modest and comfortable weather-proof clothing. No shorts/three fourths and sleeveless clothes for men or women, and no short/tight/revealing clothes.
Nightwear to be worn in your room only.
Please note that there are no ironing facilities. If you need an iron, please bring it with you.
You could bring a cap/hat for sunny spells and please bring enough warm clothes like socks, sweaters, hoodies.
Important prescription and emergency medication – definitely for pre-existing conditions.
Toiletries and towels (bath and hand).
Toilet roll if you would need it.
Masks – these will not be needed unless there is an increase in Covid cases or unless someone onsite tests positive. Even if you use a cloth mask or N95, it is advisable to carry some disposable ones with you as well.
Water bottle (or if you drink hot water then a thermos). Please avoid single use plastic.
Ear plugs for light sleepers.
Mosquito repellant ointment if you would need it. Lighting candles and coils are not permitted in rooms.
Torch, if required at night. Please note that there is 24-hour generator back-up.
Comfortable non-slip, good-grip footwear that is easy to slip off. Footwear has to be removed outside the Annashree, temples, Vinay Mandir Hall and Vidya Mandir Hall.
For attendees from abroad, the correct adaptor for your chargers and other gadgets.
For all, please have your Covid-19 vaccination certificate (at least 2 doses) on your phone, in case it is asked for at the gate.
For attendees from abroad, please email us scanned copies of your passport and visa/OCI before you leave your country of residence. We will need a scanned copy of the arrival stamp of your passport, by email after you land in India.
The following will be provided per person
1 bedsheet, 1 pillow with cover, 1 covering sheet, 1 bed cover, 1 blanket
There are also hooks in the room and each room has a clothes-drying area attached to it, as well as an attached bathroom, toilet and handwash basin.
Important Event-Specific Points to Note
On arrival at Chinmaya Vibhooti, please collect your room key from the housekeeping office at Anjani building.
Accommodation will be shared. Males and females will be accommodated in separate blocks. Males would not be allowed in female blocks and vice versa.
Please do not exchange rooms amongst yourselves as the accommodation list is used by our security team, in case of any emergency.
We would advise you not to leave any valuables (phones, wallets, gadgets) in your room, when you are not there. Please keep your valuables with you on your person. Any valuables you carry are at your own risk and responsibility.
Please inform us (chinmaya.vibhooti@chinmayamission.com/ +91-9689891959) about any children visiting with you, regardless of their age. All children have to be pre-registered.
Please inform us if there will be a driver accompanying you for the duration of your stay. All drivers have to be pre-registered.
During the camp, visitors would only be admitted with prior permission of the organizers who would need to intimate the Chinmaya Vibhooti team at least 48 hours in advance.
Please do not tip any workers. You may contribute to the Workers’ Fund in the conference area.

Drinking water is ultra-purified.
Milk and curds will be available against cash payment at Annashree.
Meal timings at Vibhooti are:
Breakfast 8:00 a.m. to 8.45 a.m.
Lunch 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Evening tea/coffee & snacks at 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Dinner 8:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
At mealtimes, please do not join tables or pull up extra chairs to a table at Annashree.
Maruti Mandir opening times: 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. (morning aarti at 7:45 a.m.), 9:30 a.m. to 12 Noon, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (evening aarti at 6:30 p.m.)
Pranav Ganesh Mandir opening times: 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. (morning aarti at 7:30 a.m.), 9:30 a.m. to 12 Noon, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (evening aarti at 6 p.m.).
Chinmaya Vani bookstore, Chinmaya Upahar gift store, Shiva Shakti culture shop (all at Swagatam) timings: 9:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. daily.
Swanubhooti Vatika enlightenment park opening times: Daily 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. (until 7 p.m. on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays). Wipro Foundation has requested the Chinmaya Vibhooti team to keep the Swanubhooti Vatika open for their delegates from 6:30 am to 8:00 am on the event days (Dec 5-6-7).
Chinmaya Jeevan Darshan museum opening times: Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. (last entry at 3:30 p.m., exit closes at 4 p.m.)
Only Airtel and Vodafone-Idea mobile network have good network coverage at Chinmaya Vibhooti. Other networks generally have weak signals or no signal.
There is no reliable WIFI connectivity available for visitors on the campus. If you will need to be connected to the internet, please bring your own laptop with your own Airtel/Vi 4G data-enabled SIM-based data card / dongle / mobile router.
Entry into the kitchen for food preparation will be prohibited.

IMPORTANT
Anyone with fever, sore throat, cough and cold may have to be isolated in a separate room and may have to be tested for Covid-19. In case you have experienced any of these symptoms or any rashes/lesions in the seven days prior to your arrival here, please avoid making the trip altogether.
Female campers are requested to not dispose sanitary napkins and tampons via the toilet flush. Please wrap these in a paper/newspaper and throw it in the dustbin of your room.
Please leave dustbins outside your room door before 9 AM daily, to be emptied by our housekeeping staff. There would be no room cleaning during your stay and housekeeping staff will not enter occupied rooms.
Please do not feed or touch any dogs, as they are strays and not domesticated pets.
Smoking, spitting and the consumption of paan, alcohol and non-vegetarian food is strictly forbidden. The same goes for drivers who may drop and pick campers - please advise them. Please assist us in maintaining the sanctity of this beautiful space, at all times.
